Free International Drumming I
Konzert und Gespräch
20.10., Hanseatenweg
Drums Off Chaos feat.

Free International Drumming I
Concert and Discussion
20.10., Hanseatenweg
Drums Off Chaos feat. Rosko Gee (Can) and Dominik von Senger (Phantom Band) play hypnotic, grooving drum music, followed by the electronic trio Aroma Pitch with a club vibe late into the night, followed by discussions among Kathrin Röggla, Manos Tsangaris and Johannes Ullmaier both before and during the event. This evening is the prelude to the artistic laboratory "Wo kommen wir hin", which will reflect the links between structuring forms and political surfaces in concerts, theatre, radio, installations, sculptures, performances, texts and images at the Akademie at Hanseatenweg in spring 2019. Helke Sander. Body and Thinking. Bodythinking
Film Screening
24.10., Hanseatenweg
Together with guests, filmmaker Helke Sander presents films by women from around 1968, which address the appropriation of one's own body: women turn the perspective around. Instead of being looked at, they looked back and into themselves, adding new forms of knowledge to the old. Women who took up the film camera at that time were adventurous and carefree. In both content and form, they occupied new terrain. From these years of awakening to the present, their traces and reinterpretations have left imprints in all branches of art. In German. more

The European culture magazine Lettre International quarterly offers space for all arts.
