Die Europäische Allianz der Akademien organisiert anlässlich der polnischen EU-Ratspräsidentschaft ein vielfältiges Programm, um die sich neu findende Kunst- und Kulturlandschaft in Polen in den Blick zu rücken. Künstlerische und diskursive Beiträge thematisieren, welche Spuren die Eingriffe der PiS-Regierung in die Kunstfreiheit hinterlassen haben und wie die polnische Kunst- und Kulturszene mit den politischen Veränderungen umgeht. Kultur – Der blinde Fleck der Politik?

Im Vorfeld der Koalitionsverhandlungen spielte Kultur kaum eine Rolle. Das ist politisch fahrlässig – denn nur wenige Bereiche genießen so breite Zustimmung. Das zeigen die Ergebnisse des „Relevanzmonitor Kultur 2025“ der Liz Mohn Stiftung, einer bundesweiten, repräsentativen Befragung zum Stellenwert von Kulturangeboten. Im Akademie-Gespräch werden diese Ergebnisse vorgestellt und die gesellschaftliche Bedeutung von Kultur debattiert. Esther Kinskys Heim.Statt ist ein Zyklus aus sieben mehrstimmigen Langgedichten, verbunden durch kurze Zwischentexte. Wie Aufbruch, Flucht und Verlust immer schon Bestandteil des menschlichen Daseins waren und Anlass zu Hoffnung und Trauma werden, dafür findet Esther Kinsky berührende Bilder. In einem literarischen Vis-à-vis mit Nico Bleutge spricht sie über die in ihren Gedichten wiederkehrenden Motive der Gewalt, der Verletzung, des Verstummens. mehr

Die räumliche Grundidee der Intervention in den 5 historischen Ausstellungssälen am Pariser Platz ist die Etablierung einer alle Räume durchschneidenden Mittelachse – cut. Entlang dieser von Raimund Kummer mit 5 Werkfragmenten plastisch bespielten Schnittachse bewegen sich täglich über mindestens 5 Stunden bis zu 5 Instrumentalist*innen, die über 5 Wochen eine ortsspezifische Komposition von Daniel Ott live aufführen. Rinderkombinat Völkerfreundschaft

Das Gelände des ehemaligen Rinderkombinats der LPG Völkerfreundschaft Jeserig gehört seit drei Jahren der Wunderblock Stiftung der Malerin Katharina Grosse. Annett Gröschner schlägt eine Schneise durch die Geschichte des Orts, schaut in Archive, führt Interviews mit Zeitzeug*innen und erstellt eine Collage aus Stimmen und Akten. Eine Veranstaltung im Rahmen der Ausstellung „Ein Dorf 1950–2022“, die noch bis zum 4.5. am Hanseatenweg läuft. mehr

Péter Esterházys Werke zeugen von einer unverwechselbaren Sprache, die „das wundersame Leben der Wörter“ kennt, stets mitdenkt und gerne ironisiert. In the run-up to the coalition negotiations, culture hardly played a role. This is politically negligent – because few areas enjoy such broad support. This is the result of the “Relevance Monitor: Culture 2025” by the Liz Mohn Foundation, a nationwide, representative survey on the importance of cultural offerings. The underlying spatial concept is an intervention in the 5 historical exhibition rooms at Pariser Platz, implementing a central axis through all the rooms – cut. Raimund Kummer uses the space for a vivid interplay of 5 sculptural fragments, in which Daniel Ott's site-specific composition is performed by up to 5 instrumentalists over a period of 5 weeks, for at least 5 hours a day. Rinderkombinat Völkerfreundschaft

The site of the former cattle combine of the Völkerfreundschaft Jeserig agricultural co-operative has belonged to the Wunderblock Foundation of the painter Katharina Grosse for three years. Annett Gröschner cuts a swathe through the history of the place, looks into archives, conducts interviews with contemporary witnesses and creates a collage of voices and documents.
